DIIV have been through some tough times, but it only seems to bring the group closer together. 

Now based in Los Angeles, the band - call them noise pop, shoegaze, dream pop... - delved into the dark side on 2019's full length 'Deceiver'. 

A record that dealt with addiction, grief, and recovery, it was fuelled by the heavier elements of the DIIV live experience. 

Clash couldn't resist getting up close for the band's London return, a packed out show at Kentish Town Forum.
