Tera Melos is a genre-bending trio on Sargent House who are famous for upending song structures, interlocking rhythmic patterns and technical aggression. They’ve acquired a multitude of strange pedals over the decade plus of playing together; steadily incorporating each new trick and texture to form the progressive, experimental guitar sounds they play today. Though they’ve pushed back on being called “math-rock”, Tera Melos has made huge contributions to the genre and continue to push contemporaries forward with each off the wall album release.
