Chelsea Wolfe and Jess Gowrie have formed a new group called Mrs. Piss. Their debut LP Self-Surgery is due out May 29 via Sargent House. Today, they’ve shared two singles, “Downer Surrounded by Uppers” and “Knelt”.

BRUTUS LIVE AT HELLFEST


Last July Brutus played Hellfest in France in 40 degree summer heat. It was their first performance in a big festival in France but they performed to a packed 'War Zone'. Thanks to Hellfest we all can now experience that set from home.

 

CHELSEA WOLFE & FRIENDS COVER OZZY OSBOURNE’S “CRAZY TRAIN” ON ‘TWO MINUTES TO LATE NIGHT’ // BROOKLYN VEGAN

 

Two Minutes to Late Night, the heavy metal talk show that tapes at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar, have been getting their musician friends together to do quarantine-style cover songs lately, including one of Weird Al’s Devo parody “Dare To Be Stupid” (with members of Khemmis, Thou, and more) and one of Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ In The Years” (with Marissa Nadler, Spirit Adrift’s Nate Garrett, and more). Here’s their third one, a cover of Ozzy Osbourne‘s “Crazy Train” with lead vocals by Chelsea Wolfe and contributions from her main collaborator Ben Chisholm, longtime Dillinger Escape Plan bassist Liam Wilson, Rough Francis drummer Urian Hackney, 2M2LN house band (and Cave In/Mutoid Man) member Stephen Brodsky, and 2M2LN’s own Gwarsenio Hall (who shreds on this one). 

 

DEAFHEAVEN – NEW EXCLUSIVE "DEMO" VINYL REPRESS

Deafheaven's debut simply called "Demo" was self-released by the band in 2010. After being remastered by Jack Shirley, Sargent House did the first vinyl press in 2012. Ten years after its release, "Demo" is now available in the new Blue & Black Marble Vinyl Limited Edition Reissue.
