NEW NOISE INTERVIEW: THE "FINAL" VICTORY LAP FOR THE ONE AND ONLY BOTCH

"Twenty-two years after their first 'final' performance, Tacoma, WA legends Botch concluded their 18-month reunion with two sold-out performances in Seattle, WA. The shows, dubbed ‘A Weekend of Dead Ends,’ saw the four-piece deliver a masterclass in high-energy musicianship and stagecraft. Amidst hugs, stage dives, and a mix of tears and sweat, the members embraced each other as all in attendance collectively celebrated the end of Botch.

The decision to reunite wasn’t easy for the band. Few, including the band themselves, expected a reunion to happen.

‘I’ll be honest, I never even wanted to do this,’ bassist Brian Cook relates during the band’s final encore. ‘But if it weren’t for these three guys dragging me along,’ he points to his lifelong friends, ‘I wouldn’t have played music at all.’"
